Bridport Museum is offering anyone who is interested in wildlife, birds or the coast to spend about half a day on a guided walk in West Bay with wildlife expert Dr. Tom Brereton. On Friday 9th November, Tom will guide the group on an (easy!) walk around West Bay, encouraging the group to look out for migrating birds.

The walk will be followed by a workshop with professional artist Rob Colbourne.  You will get the chance to work in the Salt House  to produce some kind of artistic output based on what you’ve seen and been inspired by on the walk.  The results are then turned into postcards which will form the basis of a display next year at the museum, and we hope to also send some of the postcards to Newfoundland in Canada to renew some of Bridport’s historical links with the country.

This event is completely free but bring a packed lunch and a camera if you have one. For more information or to book a place, please call Emily at the Museum on 01308 458703 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
