It being almost elderflower making time I used to go to Spar on South street where they had a good home brewing section and get citric acid to make the cordial. Does anyone know where I can go for home brewing now that the shop has closed? Have you, gentle reader got any good recipes for homebrew? Preferably something a little more highbrow than this jail house hooch.

J'S Coffee shop is adjacent to Bucky Doo Square, serving top notch coffee and a wide selection of delicious sanwiches.

Get outta town... our food critic Denzille De Ville has been ranging far and wide across the border down Mexico Devon way - I know it's out of my jurisdiction but I'll allow it, dagnabit. This week he's found himself in The Route 66 Diner in Axminster.

Just to let you all know that Jalopy Pizza is open every Friday night on St Michael's Trading Estate (past the artists studio's, by Les Allees) from 5-9pm.  Producing handmade pizza from a wood fired oven. Eat outside or takeaway.  Bring your own wine.
