Here we go..
What is a Goujon? Well it ain’t far off a fish finger, Goujon is the French word for small, fried strips of fish,  these bad boys were served piping hot with fresh sauce tartare, crispy green salad with a lovely light dressing, borlotti beans and doorstep slices of bread.

A fine restaurant complements the traditional ambiance of the hotel, and the wine list complements the daily table d'hote menu prepared with fresh produce by the homely chef.

Additionally the beamed Hermitage Restaurant offers facilities for private functions and meetings, family occasions, or simply parties.

Run by Ralph & Gail Prince a cosy village pub with friendly welcome, blackboard menu that includes daily changing fish specials. Comprehensive wine list, real ales, slate floor, log fires, low beams and a large beer garden.

I had a great meal in The Crown pub in Loders. The newish Guv'nor Mr Prince was a top Landlord bloke and I reckon I saw him on telly.
