Hello my follow Bridianites, tis the Drunkun Jedi  here to tell you all about a band that are a little bit special (not in that way…) in a golden glimmer of a Dorset way. Dorset, the rolling hills, the slow way of life, the cherished people that live here, the real Dorset/Hampshire border (circa 1974) and a band called Who’s Afear’d!

Local boy Chris Good plays Bass and vocals in the band 'Device' who are fast becoming one of the true ’must see’ bands on the hotly-contested London scene.

Naked And The Boys. The band is fronted by singer / songwriter Jack Berkeley who comes from Bridport.

Chicken Boy from Band On (The people who put on those rocking events at Evershot village hall) has brought to my attention this ace music blog, run by a guy called Joe who's originally from Dorch it's called The White Noise Revisited.

TheJOE PUBLIC Veterans of over 300 live shows, these four eighteen year olds are already creating a buzz in the music scene, and with over 100,000 plays on the MySpace page, the excitement is spreading!

The Brothers Grimmer are after gigs in the bridport area. their songs are ready and they are after raising a few roofs. do you have a venue that can contain them? no tiny stages in the corner of the pub though, as they tend to bang into things in confined spaces.

DJ James Baker has been DJ-ing for about 18 years playing soul, jazz. funk, house, hip hop and every thing in between. He has just done a set on solid steel radio for Ninja tunes James is the resident DJ at
No. 10 cafe/bar and plays gigs all over the world.

The MONGOS landed in Bridport last night. The landing was flawless. 

All I know about Mongo Lounge is that they live in Sweden, in the woods. The 4 piece is made up of Drums (Freddy James), Synth & Hammond (Lenny Picko), Bass (Coby Roberts) and the mesmerizing Shazzie Monroe on Vocals.
