Bridport Gig Rowing Club was established in March 2009 to introduce pilot gig rowing and racing to West Bay. Through hard work and effort we now have our first boat, the training boat Bucky Doo. Bucky Doo was officially launched recently and is already in action most weekends on the waters off West Bay. With endorsement from our sponsors, Palmers of Bridport, we have arranged a fundraising auction of pledges in the Ballroom of The Bull Hotel on Saturday 3 July. The evening starts at 6.30 for 7.00.
