Saturday 9th – Elephant Talk – 9:15pm – Since reforming in Spring ’09 UK band Elephant Talk have been stunning audiences with their unique ‘Urban Folk’ sound. They skilfully combine authentically played traditional acoustic music with a wide range of electronica including: dub, dubstep, drum and bass, trance, nujazz and techno. This is proving to be popular with a wide audience in music venues, festivals and events throughout the UK and Europe. See them here.
Friday 15th – The Wishbones – 9:15pm – The Wishbones formed in the summer of 2007, when a group of close friends decided to combine their musical talents and create new and exciting music. Over the past four years the band have sculpted a unique sound, blending Folk and Bluegrass with Pop sensibility song writing and Rock inspired shows. Their sound is unmistakable because of their blend of bluegrass instruments; including Banjo, Upright Bass and Slide Guitar, but infused with more modern styles to create a truly memorable music. Saturday 16th – The Krays – 9:15pm – Mix quite a lot of punk with a bit of ska and you get The Krays.
Monday 20th – Sunset Cafe Stompers – 8:15pm – Traditional New Orleans 1920’s style jazz.
Friday 22nd – OGRI & the Cafe Racers – 9:15pm – Rockabilly and Rock & Roll band with stage presence and a varied set list that is never the same twice! They will be geared up for dancing and having a great night. Have a peek.
Saturday 23rd – Seatrees – 9:15pm – Seatrees are a four-piece cover band from Chard, Somerset. They perform songs by great bands and artists ranging from the 50s all the way to the current music chart. Expect songs by the Kings of Leon, The Killers, Elvis, Oasis, The Who, James, Flogging Molly, Pearl Jam, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, The Pogues and many, many more.
Friday 29th – Stomping Goats – 9:15pm – Stomping Goats are a six piece band from Weymouth who have their own unique sound comprising influences from reggae, ska and Eastern European folk. Thought provoking stuff… Take a look.
Saturday 30th – 50’s Party Night – We are planning a 50’s party night and all are invited to get your dancing feet on for some truly great rockabilly.
