Damian Clarke Meet the Artist event Saturday October 6th 7-9pm Paths of Desire Art Exhibition Fuggles Gallery, Mangerton Mill, near Bridport.
The artist, Damian Clarke will be holding a very special Meet the Artist session on Sunday 9th December 2012 between 2 and 4pm at Fuggles Art Gallery, Mangerton Mill near Bridport. During this time he will be available to answer questions and discuss his work. Damian will also play tunes and songs on the Hammer Dulcimer and explain how the music either influences his paintings or inspires drawings. There will be light refreshments available and the event is free.
Damian will be dropping by on occasion throughout the exhibition, between October 1st to 31st, to play in the gallery space on the Hammer Dulcimer. Some of the paintings and musical pieces are connected. Damian describes his work as painted drawings in response to the landscape phenomena seen on walks around places such as Dorset, Cumbria and Dartmoor. The music adds another sensory dimension to the paintings.
