Broadoak: Bridport Museum is moving onto its village in its Village Project Roadshow. The project has already visited Shipton Gorge, Symondsbury, Chideock and Burton Bradstock.
Residents of Broadoak past and present are invited along to memories, photographs and memorabilia whilst enjoying tea and cake. Museum staff will show visitors photographs from its collection, and hope to collect more memories to add to its archive. People will also be able to find out more about the archives and resources held at the Local History Centre in Gundry Lane.
Both events are free, so you are encourage to just drop in and bring your friends. The event is happening on Saturday 3rd November between 10am and 1pm in the village hall.
