Burton Bradstock Village Fayre

Bank Holiday Monday 30th May 2011 From 2.00 pm to 4.30pm a major Bank Holiday Village Fayre takes place in Burton Bradstock in the delightful Rectory Gardens.

The Fayre is particularily special this year as it is the 80th Birthday of Burton Bradstock Village Hall which has been specially renovated to celebrate the occasion.

Numerous fund-raising activities have taken place over the last year and grants have been received from Awards For All (Big Lottery Fund), Grass Roots, Dorset District and County Councils and Burton Bradstock Parish Council totalling almost £16,000.

It?s an ideal afternoon out for all local and visiting families, with tests of skill for children and people of all ages, lots of purchasing opportunities, barbeque and renowned Dorset cream teas. Featured again for children this year is Face Painting and a timed supervised Obstacle Course for under 12s with prizes for winners. You never know what bargains you will find for sale, and there is bound to be the usual queue of ?early birds? to search for that special book, CD, soft toy, spring plant or delicious Dorset cake or jam.

An event not to be missed.
