The 2012 Eggardon Kite Festival takes place on Sunday 23rd September 2012, open from 11.am — 4.30 pm,
This year the Horse Trials at Bricky Farm are also going to be held on the 23rd September, this can lead to traffic problems so it would be helpful if cars turned off the A35 at the Maiden Newton/ Askerswell turn off and come up past the Spyway Inn.
So bring your kite and hope for wind! There will be prizes for the best homemade kite plus stalls food and drink. It’s a great day out for all the family
Proceeds will go to Powerstock School, Powerstock Hut and the Weir Sports Club and other local charities.
