Award winning performer Niki McCretton returns to Bridport Arts Centre on Saturday 1 December to host a day long theatre workshop for adults.
Renowned dancer, producer and choreographer Niki runs the Lyric Theatre with Marc Parrett. She has recently toured with a self devised physical theatre show for adults and children called Muttnik:The First Dog in Space. The show was an imaginative slant on what happened to Laika, the dog sent into space aboard the Soviet rocket Sputnik 2 in 1957.
The day long workshop is aimed at adults of all abilities. It encourages particiapants to tap into their own resources, introducing them to new theatrical and performance styles.
The day is perfect for anyone who wants a challenge or simply to have fun! Past participants have commented on how friendly the group was and how much their confidence grew as a result of taking part.
