Soirée Parisienne, a new show from Bethany Jameson’s award winning Cabaret Vérité, has clearly captured the imagination of Bridport. Audience members are flocking to see them on Saturday Dec 1st, following the quartet’s last stunning performance here in July. The evening performance is now sold out but in response to this exceptional demand, the quartet will perform a special matinee performance at 2.30pm on the same day. Audiences will be treated to an elegant ‘Salon de Thé’ spread of fresh cakes and patisseries, tea and coffee. Seating is traditional cabaret style to create that special ambiance. A perfect afternoon if you are Christmas shopping that day!

The show includes a wealth of beautiful French chansons interwoven with sultry Argentinean tangos and engaging story telling, to take a mainly English speaking audience into the heart of these fabulous songs. Romano Viazzani, master accordionist, has composed unique arrangements especially for the quartet and will be performing with Bethany Jameson, one of the UK’s favourite cabaret chanteuses, Declan Daly, virtuoso violinist who recorded on Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and their guest double bassist, Yaron Stavi, who is none other than the double bassist from Nigel Kennedy’s Jazz Band!
