Reaching back in time to the traces left by our earliest Ice Age forebears, Brian Graham’s paintings combine the science of archaeology with artistic imagination to invoke feelings of refuge, hearth and nurturing as well as ice, fire, earth and challenge in powerful abstracted deeply textured paintings.
Everything about Peter Hayes and his work vibrates with life and enthusiasm. He has travelled and lived abroad, picked up ideas and brought them to bear in his ceramic sculptures. His forms, vessels and figures are timeless, strong and simple, his surfaces textured, burnished and weathered.
Petter Southall’s furniture resounds with the echoes of boat forms. Petter’s work incorporates streamlined components which he steam bends from solid timber. Using natural materials and finishes and as little glue as possible, he creates furniture that is practical, beautiful and built to last the test of time.
