Gill has spent many years as a senior police officer, promoting the role of women in the workplace and supporting individuals to achieve their full potential. As a motivational speaker and personal-development trainer, Gill uses her experiences and humorous life stories to inform her audiences. This new book captures those experiences and stories, and turns them into a handbook for life; written in an entertaining and down-to-earth style.
Having spent time as a successful female role model in a male-dominated organisation, while being a single mum of twins, Gill is uniquely placed to understand the challenges faced by women in the workplace. In 2009, Gill’s work on women’s development was recognised by Her Majesty the Queen with the award of an MBE.
