A new dance piece that draws on the world of macho action and war movies for its visual aesthetic is set to hit the stage at Bridport Arts Centre.
“Echo” is the eagerly-anticipated work from choreographer Zoie Golding’s all-male ZoieLogic Dance Theatre and promises to deliver a high-octane fuelled evening of entertainment.
With a thumping original score created by award-winning Composer, Musician, MD and Sound Designer Ivan Stott and a visually stimulating set, “Echo” see five male dancers take to the stage to explore the theme of lost innocence.
When mild-mannered Arthur is pushed to the brink over a pair of missing scissors all hell breaks loose. A mundane faceless office turns into a fractious war zone, The Office transforming into Apocalypse Now.
Every action has a reaction as Arthur soon discovers.
