Hang on tight for a fast and furious night of Boogie Woogie piano at Beach & Barnicott. The reputation of Julian Phillips is immense on the Boogie circuit and he has an active solo career and duo act with bass box player Chris Davidson and appears in festival programmes around Europe and the USA.
Julian is gaining a great reputation for his wide and varied repertoire in the boogie woogie and blues genre, playing in a truly authentic way.
Julian has performed alongside many of his contemporaries including Axel Zwingenberger, Jean-Paul Amouroux, Jean-Pierre Bertrand, Martijn Schok, Frank Muschalle and many others and is one of the founder organisers of the UK boogie woogie festival held at Sturminster Newton and Fiddleford in Dorset England
