About
This March, Allington Council will cease to be and will become part of Bridport Town Council. 11 years ago APC took the brave decision to lease Coopers Wood and Field from the Woodland Trust for the benefit of the community.
Within that time access has been improved; they have supported the installation of the Well-being area with wheelchair access and a specially designed table, a Forest School area has been established to help introduce children to nature, Community activities and events have taken place. They have maintained the area to a very high standard, with quality steps, gates and supported the volunteer group.
We will be paying thanks to them this coming Sunday 3rd March 2024. Please join us to show your appreciation. The tree planting ceremony will be approximately 12.00, tea and cake provided.
