Bridport Arts Centre is throwing a People’s Party on Sunday 1 May to celebrate International Workers Day.
Bridport Arts Centre programme manager Margie Barbour said: ‘Bring all the family and dance to Crooked Furrow, accordian, guitar, and fiddle. We’ll have Strip the Willow, jigs, hornpipes and Virginia reels. The ticket price includes a ploughman’s lunch and there will be a bar with local beers and ciders.’
Doors open at 6pm with an open mic session on the forecourt including massed singing of the Internationale! Billy Bragg’s words.
