Witty wordsmith Matt Harvey crosses the Devon border to wow Dorset audiences with his wonderful, wonder-filled live show, ‘Wondermentalist’, touring this month to four Artsreach venues.
BBC Radio 4 Saturday Live’s Matt Harvey presents his hit Edinburgh Festival show ‘Wondermentalist’: a comedy-infused, poetically enhanced, fundamentally wonder-filled show, celebrating subjects as diverse as kippers and curtains, IT and potatoes, petty theft, pain relief and public nudity. Expect wordplay and wistfulness, poignancy and po-faced cheek from Matt, enemy of all that’s difficult and upsetting. The show also features Matt’s alter ego Empath Man, a contemporary superhero who fights crime with his advanced listening skills and ability to stay open and vulnerable in a tight situation…
Matt Harvey was poet-in-residence at Wimbledon 2010, and recently featured in Artsreach and Ben Osborne’s project ‘Jurassic Journey’ as an associate artist.
