This year we have lots of new products to suit all ages and pockets, some of which are exclusive to Bridport Museum and which represent the collections on display. You can purchase you own Dr. Roberts ‘Poor Man’s Friend’ pot plus paperweights, fridge magnets ,keyrings and tea towels featuring images from our collections. We stock both real and chocolate ammonites, Dorset dialect mugs, ‘Hangman’ t-shirts and Dorset folk song CD’s. Just delivered are super ‘Monkeys Knot’ doorstops made from rope produced at Chatham ropewalk.
There are many gifts and activities for children including magnetic stones, treasure and pirate bags, dinosaur sticker books and locally made skipping ropes. One of our bestsellers is a ‘Roman catapult’ pencil sharpener – also popular with the adults!
We also stock greetings cards, Jurassic Coast postcards and local books, some signed by the author. A wide selection of other books are also on display, including a selection on World War 1.
Pre-owned donated books are also sold.
