Bridport Stroke Club meets every Wednesday morning (except January and August) from 10am to 12noon in the lounge at Vernon’s Court, Normandy Way (off South Street), Bridport.
It is a friendly club welcoming people of any age who have had a Stroke. The morning starts with simple exercises and, after a cup of coffee/tea, continues with talks, painting, quizzes etc to help with both social and physical rehabilitation. Occasionally the meetings take the form of a short outing. There is also a full day outing during the summer and a lunch at Christmas. Transport to and from meetings may be available for those unable to make their own arrangements.
