I see that there is a snazzy plan to have 14 huge chambers of gas directly under Portland, but having studied the plans I can’t for the life of me find where the fuse is?
I see it’s going to create 25 permanent jobs too. Wonder what the qualifications are? “”Must not miss daylight”” – “”Wearers of nylon undergarments need not apply”” – ?
I think it’s a secret Downing St plan to blow Fraggle Rock into space so that it lands back where it belongs…just to the east of Merthyr Tydvil.
You would have thought that the Jewish community would have objected?
It looks to me like this is a plan to make the biggest and most spectacular opening night of the 2012 Olympics ever attempted in the whole history of the event. Launching Portland 1 mile into the sky and exploding it into a thousand rabbit-shaped pieces of portland stone! Now THAT would be money well spent!
Maybe these gas chambers can be used as accommodation for local/visiting MPs (welcome Gord/Cam), and grockles. Home rule for Purbeck/Wessex.
