Oliver Twist

Well I wonder if anyone has seen what Oliver Letwin was spending his hard earned (sorry someone else’s hard earned) money on?

Well apparently it was on pipes to go under his tennis court, now when I had that problem with my tennis court, as you do, I was quite stumped for a solution… but then I thought again… what bloody pipes? under floor heating? I don’t know I sort of got lost on the subject and had to give up, and unfortunately our court went to rack and ruin, we all put on a lot of weight and that was that.

On a more sober note, I am guessing all these scoundrels are making their way to their solicitors very swiftly , and writs will be flying all over the place, whether they will stick is another matter.

But if we had a general election now, I wonder if two or three people might show up to vote  and if so who for?

Ah well, take ‘em all out at dawn and string ‘em up… Who's first?

  1. One afternoon an M.P was riding in his limousine around his constituency, surveying his serfs, when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass. Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate. The M.P. asked one man, “”Why are you eating grass?”” “”We don’t have any money for food,”” the poor man replied. “”We have to eat grass.”” “”Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I’ll feed you,”” was the reply. “”But Sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree.”” “”Bring them along,”” the Member said. Turning to the other poor man he stated, “”You come with us, also.”” The second man, in a pitiful voice, then said, “”But sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me!”” “”Bring them all as well,”” the generous Parliamentarian answered. They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine was. Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to the M.P. and said, “Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you.”” The M.P. replied, “”Glad to do it. You’ll really love my place. The grass is almost a foot high !””

  2. i think i remember the day it happened….. some nettles had to be eaten too as i recall/ but back to dear oliver, i was thinking and some bright spark might put me right here.. but with such a large mobile phone bill (which could not be paid out of his 135 quid an hour day job) as was too large to fit into his tight little agenda, why has the dear chap not heard of SKYPE?
