The West Bay and Burton Bradstock PACT (Partners and Communities Together) Panel met last week and, following a series of engagements with the public have decided on three new priorities.
These priorities are:
- Road conditions in Shipton Gorge (in particular severe mud and hedge clippings)
- Proposal of a new 20mph speed limit in Burton Bradstock (Barr Lane to the garage)
- The need for a crossing and pavement in Burton Bradstock (Charles Road to the garage)
Over the coming weeks, various methods will be put in place to address these matters.
In addition to these new priorities the PACT panel are continuing to look at two previous priorities from the last meeting.
These priorities are:
- Improve the road safety of the three-lane stretch of A35 road east of Bridport (at the Walditch and Shipton Gorge turning)
- The excess speed and parking issues along Peas Hill in Shipton Gorge
