Fed up with the slanging match between politicians? Disillusioned by the negative campaigning for the Referendum? Want some questions answered before making up your mind?
Then come to ‘Decision Time – the case for staying in’ at Dorchester’s Corn Exchange on Friday 17 June at 7pm, and hear some positive reasons for Britain remaining in the European Union.
The panel will include West Dorset’s own MP, Oliver Letwin (Conservative), Annette Brooke, the retired Liberal Democrat MP for mid-Dorset, and Ben Bradshaw, Labour MP for Exeter and previously a BBC correspondent.
The meeting will be chaired by Sean Lusk of Dorchester Stronger-In, who said: “We are looking forward to a lively debate centred on questions from the audience with a panel of senior politicians who are backing the ‘Remain’ campaign.” A short film made especially for the event by Remain supporter and Innocent Drinks founder, Richard Reed, will show from 6.30 telling us why he thinks we should stay in Europe.
Kate Hebditch of Dorchester Stronger-In said: “Whether you’ve never voted in your life or you’re a seasoned politician, this issue affects us all and everyone is welcome at this free event.”
