Dorset County Council will be carrying out the following work:
Preparation work for the new surface, including taking off the existing surface, in Gundry Lane, will be carried out on 10 August between 9am and 4pm. Resurfacing will be carried out on the following day between 9am and 4pm. During these periods access will be maintained from one end depending on where work is taking place. This means during working times the one-way order will not be enforced.
Preparation work for the new surface, including taking off the existing surface, in Priory Lane, St Michael’s Lane and Tannery Road, will take place during the day of 15 August between 9am and 4pm.
Whilst this work is taking place access to premises and the car parks will be maintained, although at times there may be delays.
Resurfacing of Priory Lane, St Michael’s Lane and Tannery Road will take place at night between 7pm and 6 am starting on 16 August. Work will commence at Priory Lane and carry along St Michaels Lane, finishing
at Tannery Road. This means the car park entrances will be affected later rather than earlier in the evening and we will endeavour to maintain access to premises within the closure and keep disruption to a minimum.
