Come and learn Street Dance from a Pro.
The Street Dance classes in Beaminster in the summer holidays were so successful, the Youth Centre have asked the teacher Exlis to return, and run regular classes in Beaminster. The summer course culminated in performances at the Beaminster Big Day and Bridport Carnival, which were very popular.
Exlis teaches in several different Bournemouth dance schools, and has been teaching for 8 years, including 4 years at the summer courses in Beaminster Youth Club. He has been taught by some of the best Street Dance Pioneers from around the World. His routines are fun, energetic and fast paced, and suitable for both girls and boys.
The new Street Dance classes will include several short performances a year in the Beaminster/Bridport area by the groups. The age ranges are 5 – 8 (3.30pm), 9 – 13 (4.30pm) and 14+ (5.30pm), and start on Friday 20th September, at Beaminster Youth Centre. Lessons will cost £4, but the first one is free, so come and give it a go!!
