Saturday 5th July – Bridport Gig Rowing Regatta at West Bay – a day not to be missed! 17 gigs from clubs all over the South West will be taking part.
Taking place on Saturday 5th July. Racing starts at 11am. Foxy, BGRC’s very own race commentator, will be keeping all informed of who’s doing what on the sea – and no doubt on the land too.
Breakfast baps will be available in the Salthouse from 8am and there will be lunchtime rolls, teas and cakes by the pier, as well as a barbecue.
For the energetic among you who have a competitive streak, there will be a fitness stall, offering prizes to men, women and children for the most press-ups and sit-ups. Have your cake and eat it guilt free after some exercise! Add to this a raffle and tombola and it looks set to be a great day out in West Bay.
