Here's one…
"The story about West Bay fishermen being abusive to a charity sailor and the Harbourmaster doing nothing… This would never have happened under the watching eyes of Lt. Cmdr. Mike Nicholls and his trusted assistant Steve Blade! Damn the new regime and bring back Nick Berry"

Your turn…
Beardy weirdy Bill Oddy fails to cause a flap – good I never forgave him for being such a grumpy sod when I asked him to sign an autograph when the Goodies were filming down here in the 70’s (See Bridders on TV – Ed)
I was horrified to see the front page story in this weeks News. When El Nino caused chaos in the Us with extreme weather they kicked the bugger out of town! Now I see his close cousin Al Cohol is causing vandalism and destroying peoples lives, take arms friends and evict the thug. Just don’t touch me cider.
The ideal site for the waste tip would be the Eype parking bit off the bypass, we don’t need to provide facilities for people on their way to Devon. (If they need to stop, let ’em come in to town and spend some money).
Has anybody noticed a change in the good old wip wop since the new Fleet Street man took over and is it a good or a bad thing?
New man from Fleet street? Well,i didn’t know that. Can’t say i’ve noitced a change in the Wip Wop.
Yes fairyfeet it has become a Lib Dem version of the Daily Mail crossed with the misguided ramblings of the Western Gazette with my good-self as chief spell checker. They no longer support community groups which is what, in part, is good about our town and have a leaning to paint a depressing outlook of doom and gloom. I give the paper 12 months before it folds.
That would be a shame with only the excrutiating View From and irrelevant Gazette to fill the gap. I must say I hold the Wip Wop in great affection and would hate to see it bite the dust, whoever edits it.
a quick suggestion to the folk operating the excellent oracle for this town (fleet street person included) tough times for all of us, and with such a slender issue, both this and last week, a more appropriate price of perhaps thirty pence should have been considered? I have many cages to line, and at that price, its difficult.
Does the man from the wip wop read this?
I believe his staff do, but please feel free to let him know.www.bridportnews.co.uk/contactus
