Restricted operations at Bridport’s household recycling centre (HRC) [it’s a Tip – Ed] come into effect this weekend (16 17 April).
The South Street facility will remain open as usual during the week and has switched to summer opening times – 9am to 6pm April to October (9am to 5pm November to March) – giving residents an opportunity to recycle their waste after work.
Residents will only be able to dispose of their garden waste (e.g. grass cuttings, hedge clippings) at the facility between 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. No other materials will be accepted and anyone arriving with such materials will be turned away. The site will be closed all day Sundays.
