Local photographer, Dawn Potter has a great eye for her subject and her great love is capturing people. As Dawn says every face tells a story which can be preserved forever in a photograph.
On Saturday 13th November Dawn is undertaking a new project aiming to photograph as many of Bridport’s townsfolk as possible when she holds a free portrait photo shoot at the Bull Hotel, East Street in Bridport. Dawn will be taking head and shoulder portrait photos of everyone for an exhibition which she will be holding at the same venue two weeks later on Saturday 27th November.
Dawn undertakes a wide range of photographic assignments from family portraits to event photography, and commercial work such as producing images for businesses advertising needs. The aim of the Bull photo shoot is to photograph as many of Bridport’s finest faces as possible. All ages are welcome from 1 to 100 (plus!) as Dawn would love to capture a wide cross-section of Bridport’s residents. The photo shoot will lead to what Dawn hopes will be an exciting exhibition of a multitude of Bridport’s finest faces. All of the photos will be on sale at the exhibition, so you can walk away with your own personal portrait or even buy them as great Christmas gifts.
