THIS September Bridport Arts Centre will host Home, a thought-provoking and stunning exhibition of black and white photographs by the West Dorset based photographer and film-maker Robert Golden.
It is a compassionate and hauntingly powerful exhibition that records key moments of political and social change caused by globalization over the last fourty years.
The work, explores ideas of home in terms of our sense of identity, place and how we see ourselves, particularly in our work and communities.
The exhibition runs in the Allsop Gallery from 15-27 August and is free to enter.
There will also be talks, a photography masterclass on Monday 20 August from 10am -4pm, it will explore the how, what and why of taking photographs. Booking is essential.
On Saturday 18 Augut, 2pm there will be a free gallery talk with Robert Golden.
