Bluegrass sensation hits Bridport on Wednesday 30th November at Beach & Barnicott 9.30pm
Prepare yourself for a rip-roaring night of original American Bluegrass fiddle, banjo and guitar from Aaron Jonah Lewis, a multi-instrumentalist sensation from the deep south. He has won awards at the Clifftop Appalachian String Band Festival and at the legendary Galax Old Fiddlers Convention, including First Place Bluegrass Fiddle in 2007. Together with Ed Hicks this duo create a formidable sound which was spotted and introduced to us by our own Stomping Dave Allen.
Lewis started playing classical violin at a young age and went on to study at Interlochen Arts Academy before turning his attention to traditional and folk styles, especially bluegrass and old time. He also plays and teaches banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass. All together an unmissable Wednesday night down at ol’ Beach & Barnicott.
