Free Art and Play Session for Children at Bridport Arts Centre
The sessions are led by Angi Porter for children under 5 years old and the first session is free.
The emphasis is on exploration not on the finished result with an awareness that creative expression develops imagination and learning skills.
Children play, assisted by their carers, with safe, non-toxic art materials and scrap. There will be lots of fun for everyone and all materials are provided.
Learning Coordinator Kate Wilson said “We’re very enthusiastic about these sessions, they give younger children an opportunity to develop imagination in a fun environment.”
The sessions take place weekly on Tuesdays from 13 September – 13 December 10.30am-12.30pm. There are 15 places available and booking is essential. Drop in to Bridport Arts Centre or call 01308 424204 for more information.
