Elvis McGonagall will be hosting another fevered poetry evening at Beach and Barnicott on Weds 27th March from 7.30pm.
A familiar voice on Radio 4’s Saturday Live, Poetry Please and performer at the Edinburgh Fringe, Elvis brings rock and roll to poetry.
He will be joined by Musa Okwonga, London based poet, musician, social commentator, sports journalist and other half to the highly acclaimed King’s Will.
Dorset’s own Annie Freud, daughter of Lucien Freud, maternal grand daughter of Sir Jacob Eptsein and great grand daughter of Sigmund Freud will be reading work from her TS Elliot award shortlist publication, The Mirabelles and The best Man there Ever Was.
And Carrie Aaron, “intertextual enfant terrible” will be performing alongside her pet guitarist Aaron.
