With the February half term less than two weeks away, now is the time to book your place on one of Bridport Arts Centre’s Treasure Workshops.
On Tuesday 19 February the ever popular Darrell Wakelam will be running a workshop for 7 – 11 year olds. ‘Make a Treasure Chest’ that guarantees children will go home with a beautiful chest for all those important keep-sakes. The day begins at 10.30am and runs till 3pm. Tickets are £15 or £13 conc / siblings. Participants will need to bring a packed lunch and wear old clothes that can get messy. 16 places are available.
On Wed 20 Feb Angi Porter will be holding a workshop for younger children called ‘What’s in the Box’ In this 5 – 7 year olds will be able to explore and design structures using boxes and packaging materials to create a dream palace fit for a monster or maybe a princess! The workshop begins at 10am and runs till 12.30pm. Tickets are £10 or £8 conc / sibling. Again, participants are asked to wear old clothes and 12 places are available.
