Jack Harrison and Matt Benjamin play at the Beach and Barnicott at 9pm Friday 10th May
Jack Harrison is a twenty-four-old writer, guitar player and singer. He has spent a number of years moving between London and the South West, passing through many other towns and cities along the way with an often desperate wanderlust; meeting folks, making sense, losing touch, believing in songs. He writes and sings on many topics, from madness and love, through to medication and economic flailing and plays guitar with a percussive, fingerpicking technique, influenced clearly by the likes of Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake and other performing songwriters of this ilk. Jack is accompanied by the illustrious Matt Benjamin on cello. Free entry
