Jack Harrison and the Dharma Bums

Jack Harrison is a writer, guitar player and singer. He writes and sings on many topics, from madness and love, through to medication and economic flailing and plays guitar with a percussive, fingerpicking technique, influenced by the likes of Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake and other performing songwriters of this ilk. Jack often plays shows with his and long-time musical collaborator Joseph Trudgeon’s ‘Jack Kerouac’ inspired collective, the Dharma Bums, who weave between genres including blues, alternative, jazz, folk, folk-rock and psychedelia.

Jack has played shows with a variety of notable artists over the past four years including Seth Lakeman, Rory McLeod, the Destroyers, Benjamin Folke Thomas, the Bluetones and the Boomtown Rats, playing these shows either solo, with minimal accompaniment or with the Dharma Bums.

The Dharma’s revolve like Sultan’s carousel.
