Thursday April 24th is a definite date for any Music lover’s diary. Presenting: Juliet Howland: vocals, piano, flute & guitar
Juliet’s songs feel like old English folk songs that have such a marvellous intensity and integrity to them as she sings from the heart. Juliet writes all her own material and her debut CD, ‘A Promise Of Return’ was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Rob Seals. She sings lead and harmony vocals and plays the piano, flute and guitar. A professional actress in films such as ‘The Painted Veil’ and ‘Iris’ and television productions such as ‘Mistresses’, ‘A Touch of Frost’, ‘Skins’,’Distant Shores’ and ‘Colditz’, she has worked extensively in theatre throughout the UK and in 2010 she played Moya Lexington in the multi award-winning ‘After The Dance’ by Terence Rattigan, at The National Theatre, London. Juliet also performs her music regularly at The National Theatre and has recently returned from doing some concerts in Singapore.
Pre-booking for dinner between 7:00 and 8:00 pm is essential, and guests should telephone on the day (between 2:00 and 6:00pm) to confirm numbers in their party, at which time they will be informed of the cover charge – anticipated at between £5 and £10 per guest.
Unfortunately late-comers cannot be accommodated as dining must be completed before the music starts at about 9:00pm.
