The Yellow Room is an acoustic folk trio whose eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary folk tunes range from the playful to the passionate. David Squirrell on Mandolin started out on double bass in a Trad Jazz band, Pete Millson on guitar is a singer song writer and Emma McEvoy with her extensive knowledge of classical music plays violin and recorder, together their diverse musical influences create The Yellow Room’s dynamic and distinctive sound. The band delivers a dynamic mix of European and British influenced folk tunes. Their hunger and enthusiasm for the rare and beautiful is contagious but expect to recognise a few old favourites wrapped up in the unique Yellow Room sound
