Last Man Standing – A killer tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis Billy Geraghty West Dorset’s West Ender and a few trailbitten guitar slingers are kicking the living crap out of some Rock’n’roll tunes Saturday 21st October at the Electric Palace. 8 O’Clock Start.
Billy was the first British Buddy and member of the original hit musical. He has appeared around the world as a musician/actor and featured in numerous TV and film roles.
Billy is reviving his take on Jerry Lee, one of the most flambouyant, controversial, and as it turns out enduring characters from the golden age of Rock’n’roll. Alongside Elvis, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins he recorded some of the pioneering records at SUN Studios in Memphis, Tennessee.
Still played today all over the world by live acts, on the turntables and radio, the music still cuts through to the wire.
