In the run up to Christmas the Lyric are putting on shows for all the family from 13th Dec until Christmas Eve.
Last year audiences were delighted to watch the amazing Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company perform the Hare and the Tortoise. This year this nationally acclaimed theatre company are bringing us their version of The Three Little Pigs.
The production is a brilliant adaptation of the traditional tale but with a twist.
As we all know, building your own home is not as easy as it looks. For instance, will it be wind proof? Will it be wolf-proof? There’s only one way to find out….
The show is full of fun, puppetry, comedy and wit and yes, there is a wolf in it, but he’s not that scary – honestly! The show is suitable for all ages down to age two and will keep the adults on their toes too.
Stuff and Nonsense are renowned for their productions for families throughout the UK and for creating inventive and engaging productions. They are in demand this Christmas with no less than five different productions being presented across the country in Bridport, Plymouth, West London, North London and as far away as Stockton-on-Tees!
Marc Parrett, director of the show and puppet creator says ‘It’s great to have one of our shows on here in Bridport. If you’ve not seen a Stuff and Nonsense show before, do come along – we promise even your dad will like it! And that’s dads of any age! We love to entertain the whole family and it will be very special to put this show on at the Lyric at Christmas time.’
The Three Little Pigs is on every day from 13th December until the 24th, twice a day at 10.30am and 1.30pm (except 16th and 21st). It last for just under one hour. Booking is recommended as the shows near to Christmas are selling fast.
