Will Ferris will be performing at Beach & Barnicott in Bridport on Friday February 15th at 9pm. A well-respected figure on the local acoustic scene for 20 years, Will sings and plays guitar, piano and occasional melodeon. All the songs evoke emotion and atmosphere from ancient folk songs,through self-penned material to covers ranging from Bob Marley to The Boomtown Rats. Last year he released his second solo album “Days in Search of Light” featuring mostly his own songs described as “strong lyrically and melancholic”with a voice that “sounds fantastic.” The cd will be available at the gig and is also at Bridport Music and Will’s website is coming soon. Do come along on Friday to see him play and be moved by his varied repertoire presented with humour and musical prowess.
