In support of the Bridport Food Festival the Electric Palace in Bridport invites you an evening of food & film on Tuesday 15th June. Help yourself to an indulgent and delicious quality buffet with a range of seasonal tarts, pies, salads and desserts all prepared by gourmet caterers Le Pip before settling down to watch the hilarious food comedy Julie & Julia starring Meryl Streep!
Julie and Julia is an adaptation by Nora Ephron of Julie Powell’s autobiographical book.
As an amateur chef, Julie decides to cook every recipe in a cookbook ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking’ by acclaimed celebrity chef Julia Child (played by Meryl Streep) in order to chronicle it in a blog over the course of a year. Streep's Devil Wears Prada co-star Stanley Tucci re-teams with the actress as Child's husband. 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen….. pure comic genius!
A ticket for film & food is £10 / Tickets for the film only are £5 with Le Pip buffet starting at 6pm and the film starting at 7.30pm. Booking for food is recommended, but there is no need to book for the film only. For more information or to book please call 01308 428354
