If you’ve walked down South Street over the last few weeks, you might have noticed that the Museum is now covered in scaffolding and hoardings.
After 4 years of work behind the scenes, the builders have now gone in to begin the process of creating you a fantastic new museum.
Local artist Peter Sheridan is running a free drop-in workshop to create a mural to cover the hoardings. The finished mural will include work by local schools and the general public and will be on display until we reopen next Spring!
Emily Hicks, Curator of Bridport Museum said: ‘Pop on down, just for 5 minutes, or for an hour this Half Term. This is your chance to get creative, and bring out your inner graffiti artist!’
Come and find Peter on the forecourt of Bridport Arts Centre in South Street, from 11am-4pm on Thursday 27th October.
