Bridport Museum Villages Project: Puncknowle, Swyre and West Bexington, and Eype
Bridport Museum is moving onto its next villages in its Village Project Roadshow. The project has already visited Shipton Gorge, Symondsbury, Chideock, Burton Bradstock and Broadoak.
The next visit is on Saturday 10th November between 10am and midday at the Village Hall in Puncknowle. This morning will cover Puncknowle, Swyre and West Bexington.
After that on the 23rd November the Museum moves onto Eype on Friday 2-4pm in the Village Hall.
Residents of these villages past and present are invited along to memories, photographs and memorabilia whilst enjoying tea and cake. Museum staff will show visitors photographs from its collection, and hope to collect more memories to add to its archive. People will also be able to find out more about the archives and resources held at the Local History Centre in Gundry Lane.
The event is free, so you are encouraged to just drop in and bring your friends.
