Friday 22/2/08 at The Royal Lion in Lyme Regis saw the historic occassion of the meeting of two mighty websites, Bridport Radio and Lyme Regis Radio. The respective Editors Damon and Nomad (Spooky eh?) discussed collaborating on future projects.

Wow that website is so, how can I put this…. 1994. And still it loads more slowly in Firefox than this one. I hope if I donate to BR’s R&D effort it won’t go into Lyme’s upcoming ‘updated and renewed’ site (see their news ticker). BR must remain the superior ‘articles and events with comments and a musical background’ website in all of Dorset, nay even the South West.
Having listened to the Lym Regis Radio jingle, I think it sounds very sinister. I have heard that those Lyme Regis peeps shun visitors and eat their young. Some bloke I don’t know told me this in the pub after several pints of lager, so it MUST be true!
