Known for their energetic live performances, The Beat never fail to attract a strong following wherever they appear and their eagerly anticipated return to Bridport’s Electric Palace promises to be no different, with a sell out expected at the ever popular venue.
The Beat – whose hits include ‘Mirror in the Bathroom’, ‘Save it for Later’ & ‘I Confess’ – are fresh from performing at festivals all summer & never fail to get the crowds dancing with their infectious melodies and toe tapping rhythms, seamlessly incorporating styles and influences ranging from Reggae and Ska right through to Pop, Soul and Funk.
Originally formed back in 1978, the current line up consists of Ranking Roger, Everett and Neil Deathridge, along with of Matt Godwin, Tony O’Donnell, Andy Pearson and Dave ‘Blockhead’ Wright.
