The Electric Palace has cooked up a £7 lunch & film deal called ‘Munchtime Matinees’, taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday daytime.
Yummy lunches are served in the Arlo Flinn Café, in the Palace foyer, cooked up by Mike Doldon who previously ran The George and is well known for his excellent home-cooked food. The menu, which changes daily, offers a wide and interesting variety of delicious soups, salads and sandwiches to risottos, casseroles, pies and tarts. Cakes, coffees and teas are also available, as well as the licensed bar. The café is open 10am– 4pm, and with the films starting at 2pm there’s plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely lunch followed by the film… then why not follow that with coffee and cake?!
