Electric Workshops

The Electric Palace is opening its backstage doors to anyone wishing to take part in or run classes and workshops. The recently refurbished Friends’ Room is situated at the rear of the 1920’s theatre and once housed the generator which gave The Electric Palace its name. For years, the room has remained out of sight and out of the minds of visitors to the Palace, only being seen by road crews, wedding caterers and the occasional pantomime dame! Today, the room offers a brightly lit and airy space which is ideal for classes and workshops of all types – from art classes to yoga, music workshops and lectures – and is available for hire at very competitive rates, with free publicity to promote the workshops. For participants, there is not only the benefit of being in beautiful surroundings, but also on hand is the delicious food and drink on offer at the in-house Arlo Flinn Café. The Electric Palace team are keen to hear from anyone interested in running future workshops – please call 01308 426336 or pop in for more info.
